Half-Hour Special Airing Tonight Features Awards in 10 Categories,
Including the Highly Anticipated Game of Show
LOS ANGELES, July 18, 2007 – TMRzoo.com– The battle for E3 supremacy is decided tonight as “X-Play,” the most-watched videogame show on television, honors the top games from this week’s 2008 E3 Media and Business Summit, the industry’s biggest event of the year. Over 3.1 Million viewers have tuned in to catch G4’s coverage of E3, including Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo Press Conferences, on-air and online. G4tv.com alone served 3.4 million videos. “X-Play” will recognize the best titles on each console and decide the winner of the prestigious Best Game of E3 2008 award. “X-Play” Host Adam Sessler and “Attack of the Show” Host Kevin Pereira will announce the 2008 winners in the half-hour special “X-Play Best of E3 Awards” airing TONIGHT, Friday, July 18 at 8 pm ET/PT, only on G4.
“This is one of the most impressive lists of titles since we’ve established our awards show and even compiling these shortlists was challenging,” said Adam Sessler, Host and Managing Editor, X-Play. “Every game named here is exceptional and other entertainment media should take note of the creativity on display.”
Only games that were playable and available for demo this week were eligible for consideration.
