LAS VEGAS, July 28, 2008 — JV Games Inc. is pleased to announce that Pong Toss – Frat Party Games(TM), rated “E” for everyone, is now available on WiiWare(TM). Based on a game born on college campuses in the early 80s and now a competitive sport played across the country, Pong Toss – Frat Party Games(TM) is the first slated game in the Frat Party Games(TM) series.
Featuring two distinct competitive games, Pong Toss – Frat Party Games(TM) offers a traditional tournament-style game for one to four players and Speed Pong, during which two to three players compete at the same time, each trying to be the first to eliminate all of his or her cups.
Pong Toss – Frat Party Games(TM) has been designed with accurate and easy-to-use controls. It features three different play environments and allows players to choose from multiple tabletops to enhance the playing experience.
“We realized this is a game niche yet to be filled, and the
Wii(TM) is the perfect system to replicate the game. We created a very accurate and realistic throw system. No buttons to time your throw with; just hold the Wii
Remote(TM) like you would a normal ball and throw,” says JV Games VP Jag Jaeger.
The responses have been overwhelming, and the staff is having a hard time keeping up with e-mail inquiries. “People are anxious to get their hands on this game,” Jaeger says.
