So close, yet so far away. We had two offenses tie for the most runs scored this week and 20% of you picked one of those teams. Unfortunately, only one entrant picked the team that allowed the least amount of runs correctly. So many of you are getting so close, you are all picking the right offensive teams. Is that pesky “runs allowed” that seems to be the problem.
The Tampa Bay Rays and New York Yankees, no strangers to the top of the list, both scored 38 runs this week. The Houston Astros allowed the least amount of runs with 16. As mentioned, the Rays and Yanks each earned 14% of the vote. The most popular offensive team was the Boston Red Sox at 20%, and the Nationals, believe it or not, were the top defensive vote getter with 10% of all entries.
