Milwaukee Brewers hitting coach Dale Sveum has been suspended for three games and fined an undisclosed amount for his inappropriate and aggressive actions toward the umpires following the conclusion of his Club’s Sunday, July 19th game vs. the Cincinnati Reds at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati. Bob Watson, Vice President of On-Field Operations for Major League Baseball, made the announcement.
Sveum is to begin serving his suspension tonight, when the Brewers continue their series against the Pittsburgh Pirates at PNC Park in Pittsburgh
