17 weeks down, and only two winners so far this season. That’s right… week 17 has come and gone and nobody could guess the two teams correctly. Only one entry picked the correct high-scoring team and only one selected the correct team that allowed the least amount of runs, but it wasn’t the same person. Our prize back just gets bigger…
The Chicago Cubs led the league in scoring for week 17 with a total of 51, and it was the San Francisco Giants, once again, that only let their opponents cross the plate 15 times. Now c’mon guys! The Giants have been tearing up the league in least runs allowed and only on of you picked them? Tsk, tsk.
The popular teams this week were the Philadelphia Phillies on offense and the San Diego Padres on defense. Both teams earned 16% of the vote.
The week 18 prize is now added to the week 14, 15, 16 and 17 prizes. So that means that the Nerf N-Strike Vulcan EBF-25 Blaster and a blu ray copy of Terminator 2 and the Rob Thomas: Something To Be Tour – Live At Red Rocks DVD and The Woodstock Experience Limited Edition CD Box Set are combined with another Nerf product… the Pro Grip football. Yes, I know it is a baseball contest, but football season is right around the corner. Check out the pic of this massive NERF blaster below:
Voting is now open for week 19, the statistical week of 8/9/09 through 8/15/09. You’ve seen that it is possible, so click below and go for it!
