The NFL Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week for Week 8 of the 2009 NFL Season have been announced and are shown below. Only two members who entered guessed Brett Favre as the week 8 Offensive player… although there are a great number of football fans in Green Bay that find him quite offensive. Nobody guessed Chris Johnson or any of the Defensive Players of the Week correctly.

NFC:
Offense: Brett Favre – Quarterback – Minnesota Vikings
Defense: Julius Peppers – Defensive End – Carolina Panthers
Special Teams: Josh Brown – Kicker – St. Louis Rams
AFC
Offense: Chris Johnson – Running back – Tennessee Titans
Defense: Brian Cushing – Linebacker – Houston Texans
Special Teams: Ted Ginn Jr. – Return man – Miami Dolphins
