10010550Louisville Arena Sports and Entertainment Properties (LASEP) the Exclusive Marketer for the KFC Yum Center, today announced it has secured several additional partners that bring an additional $4.6 million dollars in sponsorships to the KFC Yum! Center. LASEP is the locally based entity of Learfield Sports which oversees the arena’s advertising and sponsorship sales initiatives.

Kentucky Ale, owned by Nicholasville, Kentucky based Alltech, has tapped into Louisville by signing a 10-year sponsorship agreement allowing it to name the Sports Bar on the Main Concourse the “Kentucky Ale Tap Room”. This bar overlooks the inner bowl.

“Kentucky Ale is proud to partner with the Louisville Arena Authority by providing our award-winning brews for Louisville’s new state-of-the-art arena. The arena will be another great attraction to Louisville’s downtown, and we envision the wonderful new Kentucky Ale Tap Room inside the arena to be the rendezvous point where adults can socialize and enjoy a cold delicious beer crafted right here in the Commonwealth,” said Dr. Pearse Lyons, president and founder of Alltech’s Lexington Brewing & Distilling Company. “This partnership, in addition to our sponsorship of the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games, is yet another example of our passion for promoting the great things Kentucky has to offer,” he added.

“This community is enthusiastic about the KFC Yum! Center and it shows when exceptional corporate partners come on board,” said Jim Host, Chair of the Louisville Arena Authority. “Thanks to the good work of LASEP, we are finding many local companies that want to be a part of the excitement.”

“The corporate community continues to demonstrate its commitment to supporting the KFC Yum! Center,” said Lynn Saltzman, General Manager of LASEP. “These companies are dedicated to providing innovative and valuable solutions that fulfill the needs of the Center and symbolize the spirit of the Louisville region.”

Today’s announcement comes on the heels of a naming rights announcement in April. A $13.5 million, 10-year agreement between Yum! Brands, Inc. (NYSE: YUM) and Team Services, LLC. resulted in the arena officially being named the “KFC Yum! Center.”
