Not letting anybody else steal the spotlight, Lindsey Lohan just trumped former Oakland Raider quarterback Jamarcus Russel as the highest-ranking celebrity f*ck-up. Today, Lohan was sentenced to 90 days in jail, and once that sentence is complete, she must serve 90 days in an in-patient drug rehab in Los Angeles program as a result of violating her probation sentence from a previous case.

Lohan broke down as Judge Revel read her decision to the courtroom. She also shed some tears before the verdict when she was given the opportunity to speak in her defense claiming, “I wasn’t expecting any special treatment aside from the understanding that I have to provide for myself, I have to work. My schedule is, unfortunately, very different” “Having said that, I did do everything I was told to do and did the best I could to balance jobs and showing up.

Unfortunately, several witnesses from “Right On”, the alcohol program in which Lohan was supposed to be attending, said she anything but what she was told to do. The common theme was that she missed several meeting over the last 27 weeks… seven to be exact. The prosecutor wanted to submit even more evidence proving that Lindsay had been drinking per the “alcohol monitoring device” strapped to her ankle. Luckily, the judge did not allow that evidence to be presented because the primary reason for the hearing was to determine if Lohan was attending the classes per her probation.

The Judge wanted Lohan to surrender immediately to begin her sentence on the spot, but her attorney pleaded for a two week stay so she could get her affairs in order. The Judge agreed, but stated the alcohol device was to stay in place during that time period.

The “original offense” referred to earlier was a 2007 arrest where Lohan was taken in on suspicion of drunk driving and cocaine possession. This happened just a month after she was arrested for another DUI. Lindsay plead no contest to the driving offenses and plead guilty to two misdemeanor charges of being under the influence of cocaine.

That earned her the three years of probation… which just ended early today.
