Those of you anxiously awaiting a true sequel to Assassin’s Creed II – not that Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood isn’t awesome – can rejoice as UbiSoft’s Jean-Francois Boivin has confirmed Assassin’s Creed III is being developed and will feature a whole new setting and assassin.
Boivin was quoted as saying:
“Assassin’s Creed 3: new setting, new hero. That’s the way it works. We know what we’re doing; we’ve had a plan for a long time where this license is going to go.”
Boivin had also stated that an Assassin’s Creed title would not be released in 2011, which confirms that Assassin’s Creed III would not be released until 2012.
What setting would you like to see Assassin’s Creed III take place in? Let us know.
