Morton’s The Steakhouse has recently made several exciting announcements sure to whet the appetites of their prized guests around the world. These include a first of its kind interactive wine dinner featuring the acclaimed Mondavi family, a variety of delicious new menu items at each of their U.S. locations, continued international expansion with a new restaurant slated to open in Shanghai later this year and their ongoing Celebrity Server Nights and Lunch With A Legend Events featuring some of the biggest names in professional sports. Mondavi Wine Event (October 7)
Join Morton’s The Steakhouse and the second, third and fourth generations of the famed Mondavi wine family as they join forces on October 7 for a nationwide wine dinner and charity auction at the Charles Krug Winery Carriage House in Napa Valley. Benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation®, the gathering is the first of its kind in Mondavi family history and will celebrate the family’s more than 90 years in growing and crafting wine. The Mondavi family has come together to specially blend two special 27 liter bottles of wine (the bottles are called Siamo Insame, which translates as “We are Together”) to be auctioned with proceeds going to Make A Wish Foundation. The interactive dinner will be broadcast simultaneously to 54 Morton’s The Steakhouse private dining rooms throughout the US via a state-of-the-art satellite broadcast technology.
New Menu Items
Morton’s recently announced the addition of a variety of new items to its already impressive menu offerings. Now available in all 71 U.S. locations (including San Juan, Puerto Rico), the new offerings range from Crab Cake BLTs and Smoked Salmon Pizza on the Bar Bites menu to new entrees that include Double Cut and Bone-In Filets, plus a Chilean Sea Bass served Pineapple-Pepper Salsa.
Shanghai and Uptown Dallas Morton’s Openings
Expanding their international reach, Morton’s The Steakhouse recently announced plans to open a new location in Shanghai, China, as part of a joint venture with a local investor group. Scheduled to open later this year, the restaurant will be located in the state-of-the-art Shanghai International Finance Center (IFC), strategically located in the city’s financial center. The joint venture will expand Morton’s growing presence in Asia and become the sixth Morton’s steakhouse outside the United States. The Shanghai Morton’s will feature a large main dining room, multiple Morton’s exclusive private dining Boardrooms, Bar 12-21 and an outdoor terrace dining area. Morton’s has also announced a new location in Uptown Dallas, to open in early 2011.
Celebrity Server Nights/Lunch With A Legend
