This is the last call to enter your week 8 NFL football picks and predictions in an attempt to win some prizes in our “Beat the House” contest. There doesn’t appear to be any new Brett Favre scandal information that should affect your picks other than Favre himself insisting he is going to play. Right now there are two games that contestant are disagreeing with, and they are so close that they could fall on the agree side by the time the games kick off. The only way to beat the House is to correctly disagree with those picks you think he’s missing the boat on.
The two games that are less than 50% agree per fan voting are the Washington Redskins heading into Detroit and getting beaten, and the NFL game being played in London, where Cletus predicted that the “home” team San Francisco 49ers would best the “visiting” Denver Broncos. How exciting is that? NFL Football being played in London for the world t see! Right, I’m not buying it either. In fact, I’d be downright pissed if my home team sacrificed a crucial home appearance for the sake of the NFL selling their product.
