Dance Central Is Finally Released for XBOX 360 Kinect (+Trailer)

Considered by many to be the killer app for Kinect, Harmonix and MTV Games’ Dance Central hits stores today.

The game is a music/rhythm game in which dance moves are displayed on the screen, and the player or players must imitate them. Think of it as Dance Dance Revolution without a dance pad and requiring the player to use their feet and hands.

According to the presser:

Dance Central introduces players to more than 600 moves in the game and more than 90 dance routines on-disc, created by professional choreographers. In addition, players can earn achievements, unlock new character outfits and venues and progress through the dance ranks. In Dance Battle, players can challenge friends to an epic living room showdown.

The soundtrack includes performers such as Cascada, Kool & The Gang, Kylie Minogue, Salt-N-Pepa, Nelly Furtado, Christina Milian, and Lady Gaga. If that weren’t enough, the first DLC has been released today as well, including: “Because of You”, Kelly Clarkson; “I Got You Dancing”, Lady Sovereign; “Temperature”, Sean Paul
