Howard Stern’s Robin Quivers Out-pitches Gary Dell’abate on Jimmy Kimmel (VIDEO)

Last night Robin Quivers, from the Howard Stern Show on SiriusXM Satellite Radio, was on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Kimmel pressured her into throwing a pitch to him and the video is embedded below.

The bit came about as a goof due to the two poor performances Stern Show producer Gary Dell’abate had when throwing a baseball on national television. In May of 2009, Gary threw out the first pitch at a Mets game, and as you can see below, missed the catcher by, let’s say, a wide margin. It is featured in the second video below. The mishap is still being talked about a year and a half and almost two full baseball seasons later.

Dell’abate just released an autobiography entitled They Call Me BaBa Booey, and appeared on Kimmel’s show last week to promote it’s release. In an unplanned segment, Kimmel threw a glove at Gary and gave him a chance at redemption. Quite the opposite happened as you can see in the third video below. This led to more goofing on the show and the end of Gary’s current self-confidence boost in being a best-selling author.

Right before Stern ended the show on Thursday to go on their Thanksgiving hiatus, Robin mentioned she was also going to be on Kimmel and this prompted a quick discussion on what it would do to Gary if Robin could top his performance on live TV. Let’s be honest, the bar wasn’t set very high. Robin insisted that if she was in Gary’s shoes and Jimmy pressured her, she would refuse to partake in the catch.

In what appears to be another unplanned bit (although I have my doubts) Kimmel does indeed pressure Robin into throwing and she tosses a perfect strike into Jimmy’s glove.

I don’t know if it is good or bad for Gary that the Show does not resume until the 29th of November. He won’t get goofed on for over a week, but he knows it is coming as soon as the crew gets back on the air on the Monday after Thanksgiving.

Poor Baba Booey.
