Today, Boston Sports Clubs and the Boston Celtics Dancers join forces once again, offering Bostonians a chance to dance with the pros. This NBA season, Boston Sports Clubs will offer a 50-minute, dance-based, cardio workout led by dance team members. The class will be FREE to the public and open to non-members.
The dance workout, choreographed by Celtics dance coach Marina Ortega is designed for all fitness levels. During the cardio dance class, participants will learn the moves seen every game on the Garden’s sidelines. The monthly master class will kick off today, Monday, November 1st at 5:30pm at the Wellington Circle Boston Sports Clubs location. While not teaching classes, the Boston Celtics Dancers also use the Boston Sports Clubs facilities to train, revise and perfect their routines.
“As Boston’s largest network of sports clubs, we’re proud to partner with the Boston Celtics and welcome the Boston Celtics Dancers into the twenty-five Boston Sports Clubs locations to work out, rehearse and teach Bostonians their demanding performances,” said Rick Marshall, Vice President of Operations for Boston Sports Clubs. “We are also thrilled to diversify our group exercise class offerings with this new cardio dance workout.”
“As the area’s leading network of fitness clubs, BSC provides our Dancers and employees with state-of-the-art facilities where they can train and stay healthy,” VP of Corporate Partnerships and Business Development Ted Dalton said. “The new cardio dance class will provide our fans with unique access to the Celtics Dancers and a new and innovative way to work out.”
