MillerCoors hauled in 11 medals this year at the Brewers Association’s annual Great American Beer Festival (GABF). Among the highlights of the competition, Miller Lite bested 52 other entries to take gold in the American-Style Lager or Light Lager category and Blue Moon Brewing Company and Dr. David Ryder were honored as Large Brewing Company and Brewer of the Year.
The brewery honor was just the beginning for the Tenth and Blake Beer Company, the craft and import division of MillerCoors. Eight of the 11 MillerCoors medals went to Tenth and Blake brands.
“Once again, our commitment to brewing great beer has been confirmed by our peers and by beer drinkers around the country,” said Ryder. “This year’s wide-ranging awards, from Miller Lite’s prestigious gold to Schwarzbier’s bronze, support our belief that MillerCoors has the greatest, most diverse portfolio in the American beer business.”
