Nintendo has unleashed yet another Nintendo DS model, called the Nintendo 3DS. Yes, it’s a handheld that boasts 3D – and won’t require any special eyewear. It will be compatible with all Nintendo DS and DSi titles.
According to ArsTechnica:
By tracking the motion of the system in relation to your eyes, you seem to be able to peer “into” the picture by turning the system this way and that. It’s a surprisingly effective effect, and some iteration of this system may be used in the 3DS.
Hopefully, it’ll be far more successful than Nintendo’s previous attempt at 3D gaming, and less harsh on the eyes.
