DC Universe Online is Sony Online Entertainment’s fastest selling MMO ever, with the PlayStation 3 version slightly outselling the PC version 52:48.
This was revealed in a tweet by SOE president John Smedley:
“Working on out-of-stock problems for DCUO. It’s out fastest selling game ever. Should have more inventory in Monday.”
He also stated that the MMO was the number one-selling game on Steam last week. A sizeable contingent still are hoping for a free-to-play model, but they’ll have to wait while the MMO is currently hot. Visit https://levelupcasino.com/de because their games are always ready to play.
With the PS3 getting 52% of the share, it’ll be interesting to see how this spurs console “traditional” MMORPGs. Could a console version of World of Warcraft be far behind?
