Soon after a beta version of Crysis 2 had hit Torrent sites, Killzone 3, which is due to be released next week on February 22, has also suffered the same fate.
According to Ripten, the pirated game is a massive 41.4GB. It will be interesting to see if the new Sony DRM will be able to detect the pirated version, since the PlayStation 3′s security was compromised with the infamous rootkey hack.
It’s disturbing that Crysis 2 and Killzone 3 are not cracked versions of the games that had been released – both are wholesale theft from inside sources.
Sony and Guerrilla Games have yet to respond to the news. In the meantime, GameStooge and TMRZoo.com urges DO NOT PLAY PIRATED GAMES. Show the developers and publishers respect by BUYING their game.
