Larry Hryb, aka Major Nelson, has been hinting on Twitter that there will be some major Xbox 360-related news coming soon, which was speculated to be news about Gears of War 3. Epic Games has confirmed by announcing that there would be news about enrollment in the Gears of War 3 beta.
The fact there will be a Gears of War 3 beta is already known – gamers who purchase the Xbox 360 version of Bulletstorm will get instant access to the beta. The only real questions that the announcement will answer is when the beta starts, how long it lasts, and what it’ll encompass.
Hopefully, Gears 3 will improve on Gears 2‘s multiplayer problems; one gamer famously sending Cliff Bleszinski a broken Gears of War 2 disc, claiming he was “Marcus Fenix, 2006 Laggy Lane, Lagsville, FL.”
