Last night, N.C. Nashville beat AR Littlerock in overtime, 81-77 to steal the 16th seed in the Southeast division. Nashville now has the please of getting knocked out in the first round by #1 seed Pittsburgh. Also being determined in Tuesday night action was the 12th seed in the East Region, as Clemson handily beat UAB 70-52. Clemson will now face the #5 seed, West Virginia.
Tonight we have two more “play in” games to determine the 11th seed in the Southwest (VCU vs. USC) and the 16th seed in the East (UTSA vs. Alabama St.). Once those are determined the final 64 will be set and the 2011 tournament kicks into high gear Thursday night.
