Now that the smoke has cleared on the initial two rounds of the 2011 edition of NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship Tournament, March Madness, we have another printable bracket update for you in case you want to start that office pool all over again. Yes, I’m talking to you Pitt and Notre Dame fans.
Suddenly, I don’t hear too many complaints about Pitt being crowned the #1 seed in the Southeast. Maybe their second-round exit at the hands of Butler has something to do with that. The biggest whiners were the Notre Dame supporters… who took a second round thrashing as well.
Other upsets in the initial two rounds included #12 Richmond beating #5 Vanderbilt, #13 Moorehead State besting #4 Louisville and play-in #11 VCU topping #6 Georgetown. Coincidentally, all three of those upsets occurred in the Southwest bracket… the very same one that Notre Dame was upset in. Kansas, at #1 is he only top seed remaining in the division along with the #10, #11 and #12. Good luck guys.

Who knows what the rest of the tournament has to offer, and what the outcomes will be, but what we do know is that Pitt and ND will be at home like the rest of us watching.
