We are finally down to the last two days in the entry period in the TMR Zoo Cam Newton Contest. We brought you updates and expert mock drafts throughout the entire entry period and we were able to witness the progression of Cam Newton from a “possible” first round or early second round pick to what appears to be a national consensus that he will be picked with the very first pick overall, by the Carolina Panthers, in the 2011 NFL Draft.
Former NFL stars, and current analysts, Phil Simms, Cris Collinsworth, Boomer Esiason and Howie Long all recently agreed that Cam will go first overall this Thursday. Even though everyone, fans and experts alike, believes he will be #1, Cam is still going to draw one hell of an audience when the NFL Draft is aired Thursday night, with a football fanbase that is just rabid for something positive regarding the league and it’s players.
75% of all entries in this contest have Newton being selected in the first round and 25% of the field picked him going to the Panthers in that round. So what will YOU do with your final two entries? Stack the deck with two Panthers/#1 selections, or go with a wildcard in an attempt to pick a longshot? It’s all up to you!
