Is Vanessa Bryant The Yoko Ono of The Los Angeles Lakers?

Kobe Bryant told J.A. Adande that reports of his wife causing Pau Gasol’s breakup with his fiancé are bogus. ESPN’s J.A. Adande tweeted “Kobe was shown internet report that’s floating around Reax: “They barely know each other.” [U can fill in the gaps. I’m done].” What J.A. Adande didn’t report was if it was our report from earlier this weekend that Kobe was shown. If it was ours, we would love for him to confirm he is indeed a weasel.

The bottom line is that the chemistry is horrible within the Los Angeles Lakers locker-room. There are rumors that Vanessa Bryant is very jealous of Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom having their own reality show. Insiders say Vanessa Bryant is shopping her own show and has forbid her alleged rapist husband from giving the cameras any Kobe b-roll. Kobe has been ordered to stay out of all shots. If you watch Odom’s show you wouldn’t even know Kobe was on The Los Angeles Lakers.

Add to those rumors the latest report from MediaTakeOut.com that Vanessa Bryant has something to do with the breakup of Pau Gasol and Silvia Lopez Castro. It is just too much drama for one basketball wife to bring to the table. Where there is smoke there is fire.

Kobe Bryant hasn’t been a choir boy himself this year. Kobe was fined $100,000 for calling a referee a “fucking faggot” earlier in the year. Kobe’s gay slur came after he did a walk-on for ABC’s hit comedy Modern Family. You know, the show that features the hilarious gay couple… way to go champ. It is time for these guys to tell their wives and girlfriends that the cameras can wait, right now is about basketball. Unless, of course, it is a sex tape or nude pics of the wives – then we are fine with the distraction.

So like The Beatles I think it is time for The Los Angeles Lakers to part ways. This band of nitwits and egomaniacs have stripped Phil Jackson of any Karma and Zen that Dennis Rodman had failed to kill. Pau Gasol, Kobe Bryant and Lamar Odom are totally whipped by their women. And all of this is on the eve of the worst playoff series in L.A. Lakers’ history. What an embarrassment this series and team has been.

It will be interesting to see what Mark Cuban’s Dallas Mavericks can do when they are finally on a basketball court with 5 men.
