Pabst Brewing Company Names Bryan Crowley as Chief Marketing Officer

Pabst Brewing Company (PBC) announced today that Bryan Crowley has joined the Company as Chief Marketing Officer. Crowley is the newest member of the management team headed by recently appointed Chief Executive Officer John Cochran.

“Bryan brings proven expertise in brand revitalization and product innovation, which dovetails perfectly with Pabst’s aggressive growth plans for our portfolio of iconic beer brands,” said Cochran. “He’ll be a tremendous asset to our team.”

Prior to joining PBC, Crowley most recently served as Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Mars Food, Inc. where he led the iconic global rice brand UNCLE BEN’S®. Crowley’s strategic focus on both innovation and core business led to industry-leading sales and profit growth. During his tenure, he launched Uncle Ben’s Ready Rice and grew the brand from the #4 to #1 brand in the flavored rice category.

Perhaps Crowley’s most enduring impact on Mars was that he successfully architected a complete brand revitalization project for Uncle Ben’s, putting the brand’s powerful icon, Uncle Ben, at the center of all communications. The iconic Ben Knows Best campaign resulted in sales, share and profit growth across the portfolio.

“This position is an amazing opportunity to build upon the authenticity at the core of each brand in Pabst’s portfolio,” said Crowley. “I started my career in the beer industry and am excited to return to be part of a company with so many great brands that have both deep roots in American culture and such immense growth opportunity.”

Crowley began his career at Anheuser-Busch and then held various positions of increasing responsibility at ConAgra Foods before being recruited to Mars.
