Our Week 8 “expert” NFL picks and predictions have been posted and are available for your viewing pleasure on our “Beat the House” contest page. The Week 7 “Beat the House” recap is below.
After not even coming close to beating the readers in the first five weeks of the 2011 NFL season, there was a push in week 7 at 9 correct picks a piece. Finally, for the first time this season, the House defended it’s title and bested the membership in our “Beat the House” competition… barely.
By the smallest of margins, a half of a correct pick to be exact, the House won week 7. The half win came as a result of the Bucs-Bears games in London being a deadlock in voting at 50/50, therefore the members neither won nor lost the game.
Since the House was not beaten as the contest requires, no prizes are awarded this week. Confidence is just oozing out of our expert, Cletus, so you better watch out. The only way for him to go is up.
The final tallies for week 7 and the season as a whole are as follows:
