Videogame site Beefjack is stating that Electronic Arts internal sources have leaked to them that the next downloadable content pack for Battlefield 3 will be set in New York City.
According to the site:
“If our tipsters are truly in the know, then it would seem likely that New York will be the location for the next round of DLC, due to be unveiled this month. We were unable to discover whether the DLC itself would be purely multiplayer-focused, or whether it will also contain singleplayer or co-operative content.”
The Return to Karkand DLC is due to be released this coming December. Electronic Arts has not confirmed or denied the future NYC downloadable content, stating they had “nothing to confirm other than what is already announced just yet.”
