Round 1, the Wild Card round, of the 2011/2012 NFL Playoffs is done and in the books, and so is the first round of our playoff pick’em contest. Fortunately, you all get a “do-over” and can pick the entire playoffs once again en route to winning some great prizes. Since not too many people picked the Denver Broncos to move on last week, total points for the first round were kept in check for the most part so a contestant entering round 2 for the first time can jump right in and still steal the total points championship. What’s on the line? A DVD prize pack for the winner of each round and a $100 Visa Cash Card for the grand prize winner. To enter your picks, simply fill out the form below. Start with your Divisional Weekend picks and move on up to the Superbowl, including your predicted combined score. All you have to do is pick the winners… do not worry about who the victorious team beats.
Here’s the twist… you’re going to get to re-pick the rest of the playoffs after the next round again. After the playoffs are complete, we’ll calculate each of your three pick sets and award the highest point total for each round the DVD prize. Then we’ll add up all three of the entries for the entire playoffs and the entrant with the highest point total wins the $100 gift card. See below for how each game will be scored and how tie-breakers will be handled.

Conference Championships: 8 points
Superbowl: 16 points

In the second round of the NFL playoffs the lowest seed in each conference will travel to the home of the higher seed to play for the Conference Championship Game. The Superbowl is then played in a neutral location between the two remaining teams in each conference. All seeds are shown next to the team name.

This contest is open to all residents of the United States, and will close on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 4:30 pm EST. (Kickoff of the first playoff game)
You can only enter this contest round once per person per email address. Multiple members of one household may enter with separate email addresses.
The winner will be notified via e-mail. Ties will be broken by selecting one winner at random from all winning entries. The winner MUST respond within 1 week of being notified or their prize will be given to the next runner-up. Upon award of the grand prize, the winner will be mailed $100 in gift cards.
