It seems that PAX East will be running in Boston for a long, long time, as the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority (MCAA) today announced that it had signed a deal with PAX organizers to keep the show there through 2023. The previous contract was set to expire after this year’s show.
According to GameSpot:
As part of the new deal, PAX East organizers have agreed to donate $25,000 per year to the Massachusetts Digital Games Institute (MassDigi), an endeavor launched last year by lieutenant governor Timothy Murray to promote a dialogue between academia and the gaming industry.
TMRzoo.com will be at PAX East this year, once again.
