NFL Draft Contest Update: Only 14 First Round Picks Left Unsigned, Including Luck and RG3

It appears that our First Picked/Last Signed contest is quickly coming to its close. There are only 14 first round picks from the 2012 NFL Draft class that have not agreed to terms with their team. That means only 13 need to sign for a winner to be crowned.

It is mostly the top 8 that are still being difficult. Only six of the players picked in slots 9 through 32 have not signed with the team that picked them yet. The two biggest names on the list are (not coincidentally) first and second overall picks Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III. They are also the most popular picks in the contest as of right now.

Andrew Luck leads guesses with 10% of the votes entered, and RG3 is falling behind at 7.5%. They were the clear leaders for awhile, but a dark horse has entered the race and is closing the gap between the top picks very quickly. Dontari Poe, the 11th overall pick by the Kansas City Chiefs, is coming close to dethroning RG3 as the second most popular pick, and at the speed he is doing it with, could catapult to the top very quickly.

To be eligible to win the contest, you just need to guess the player selected in the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft who will be the very last to sign a contract with the team that selected him. You can enter every day until there is one draft pick left unsigned.

The contest will run until all but one players are signed, and that appears to be happening pretty quickly, so get your picks in now. For more information and details, visit the official contest entry page.
