A couple of weeks ago we told you about George Dickel’s Whiskies collaborating with the original series on Hulu , “Raising the Bar”. “Raising the Bar” was filmed in Kansas City, Mo. during the 2012 American Royal World Series of BBQ. The series follows 6 teams of craftsmen who are tasked with building unique bars by hand. The tie-in with George Dickel’s is that all of their whiskies are “handmade” by a team of 25 hard working people at Cascade Hollow. This makes George Dickel the perfect whiskey to be poured atop these awesome bars when they are done.
Where this contest gets cool is – George Dickel and“Raising the Bar” want YOUR ideas. They have asked our readers to tell us what thing or feature would be the ultimate accessory for a custom made bar. We want ideas that are flat out cool! These are items that you would want at your own bar to show off to your friends!
The TMRZoo.com team will go head-to-head with 11 different teams across the internet. If our idea is picked, George Dickel’s Whiskies and Raising the Bar will give eight of you whatever item we suggest. The episode featuring TMRZoo.com’s assigned bar went live on Hulu today. Our master craftsman Stanley Dempster a professional engineer and Team Monkey Business have built a bar that has features that are a nod to the classic boardgame Mousetrap. You can watch the episode here. Now it is time for the TMRZoo.com team to add our embellishments to the bar.
