Ah, the first football Sunday of the year. Today every team in the NFL has aspirations of going to the Super Bowl and so should you. TMRZoo.com wants to help get you there. The 2013 edition of our exclusive free football pool, ‘Beat the House’ is officially open and we are ready to receive your picks and predictions. If you are a seasoned veteran of Beat the House, feel free to jump right in. If you are a rookie, and even if you are not a rookie, read on to see how we’ve taken this contest to a whole new level once again.
The player with the most correct picks in week one will instantly get a spot in the playoffs… PLAYOFFS! That means if you get the most correct picks this week, your odds of winning Super Bowl tickets drop all the way down to 1 in 16, no matter how bad you do for the rest of the season.
In the event of a tie week two’s score will decide the winner of the tie breaker, hopefully this won’t drag into week 3. One lucky person might be one step closer to the Super Bowl tickets on Tuesday morning. Either way the first person at the head of the pack makes it into the playoffs, PLAYOFFS!
The last man or woman standing at the end of the 2013 edition of Beat the House will receive a pair of tickets to Super Bowl 48 in New York, courtesy of Crown Royal. You must be 21 or older to win the grand prize. The prize is the tickets only, all other travel and lodging arrangements are the winner’s responsibility.
The “Final Four” contestants in our playoffs, which will be after the divisional round of the NFL playoffs, will each receive a pair of high quality sunglasses from Maui Jim.
All weekly prizes and Random will be announced at the time they are eligible to be won. The requirements for winning one of these prizes will be announced at the time as well. It is best to “like” the Beat the House Facebook Page for special prize eligibility updates and reminders to get your weekly picks in. Keep in mind the highest total score for the regular season is the deciding factor for all playoff tiebreakers. If you make it into the playoffs early keep pushing throughout the season to ensure your chances of grabbing the tickets to Super Bowl 48 in New York are that much better.
