13% of Women Have Made a Sex Tape

AdamAndEve.com, America’s most trusted source for adult products, is never shy when it comes to asking about your lovemaking habits. This month, the company asked over 1,000 adults if they had ever made a sex tape of their own.

While many of us have seen the “private” sex tapes of Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian and Pamela Anderson, relatively few admit to making their own erotic videos. A whopping 84% of respondents said they had never filmed themselves having sex.

Of those who admitted (13% of the women and 18% of the men) taping themselves, most (60%) said they saved the tape to enjoy again.

Dr. Kat Van Kirk, resident sexpert for AdamAndEve.com, says, “Many people find it exciting to watch themselves having sex. It’s an easy way to add some spice to a relationship and it can add a new dimension to your lovemaking.”

“Adam & Eve encourages adults to explore their sexuality within their own comfort zones,” says AdamAndEve.com Director of Marketing Chad Davis. “From how-to guides to props and lingerie, AdamAndEve.com has a variety of accessories for every taste.”

The web-based survey, conducted by an independent third party survey company, of over 1,000 American adults age 18 and up, was sponsored by Adam & Eve to study sexual preferences and practices. “Sex Chat with Dr. Kat”  can be found on podcasts through iTunes or www.drkat.com. Her new book, “The Married Sex Solution: A Realistic Guide to Saving Your Sex Life,” can be found on Amazon.com.
