Here we are at week 6 of the 2013 NFL season and some of the teams that were previously considered the cream of the crop are simply not rising to the top. One of those teams, the Atlanta Falcons, laid a pretty big egg on Monday Night Football last night. Enough of the past, let’s look forward on to the free week 6 NFL picks and predictions…
With five weeks down, it is time to start looking at who could preserve their perfect record for another week… both on the positive and negative sides. Three teams remain unbeaten at 5-0 (Denver, Kansas city, New Orleans) while another four haven’t sniffed a win yet this season.
Out of those seven teams with a zero on one side or the other, our experts are predicting that two of them will change that fact in week 6. The first team is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who will be hosting the Philadelphia Eagles this Sunday.

The official word hasn’t come from Philly yet, but for the purposes of this pick, we are assuming Michael Vick is out. If you watched last week’s game against the Giants, you saw a ton of air under most of backup Nick Foles’ throws… plenty enough air for one of the best secondaries in the game to get in front of and make a play on. Currently, the point spread only favors the Eagles by only 1, at HOME, against an 0-4 team. That says it all! Bucs win outright.
The other team that will drop a zero from their record are the New Orleans Saints. They head into New England to face a Patriots team who was just kept out of the end zone for a full game by the Bengals. Do you think Tom Brady and Bill Belichick will let that happen again?
The Saints have always been a different team on the road and even had a scare in Tampa Bay, barely beating the Bucs, 16-14. The Pats will pull it together and hand them their first loss in 2013.
