We mentioned it last week, and all indications are that it will ring true again this week… the Thursday Night Football games have all fallen into the boring category in 2013. The Giants head into Chicago for tonight’s contest as a 7.5 point spread underdog. With an 0-5 record and giving up the most amount of points in 2013 so far, it is no stretch to call the Giants one of the league’s worst, if not THE worst team. They really do not have a single thing going for them at the moment and that luck does not seem like it will change anytime soon.
After starting the season 3-0, the Chicago Bears have dropped their last two. Starting QB Jay Cutler was responsible for their first loss of the season with 3 interceptions in Detroit, but put a good game together (128.1 QB rating) in week 5. Unfortunately they were playing the New Orleans Saints and Drew Brees outgunned him. Facing a dreadful Giants defense tonight should feel like a welcome scrimmage for Cutler.
