Rick’s Cabaret Girls Review Artie Lange’s Book “Crash and Burn”

Stand up comic and former Howard Stern Show sidekick Artie Lange released his new book ‘Crash and Burn’ recently. We couldn’t decide which of our staff should review the book… so we let the ladies of Rick’s Cabaret in NYC do the work for us…

“Comedian Artie Lange’s new book, ‘Crash and Burn’ is a true tell-all, revealing the behind-the scenes story of his meltdown and road to recovery,” explained Rick’s Cabaret New York Girl Julianna. “We all love Artie and I couldn’t wait to read the book.

“The book is so brutally honest, it really shocked me, but I loved it. Honesty is sexy!” she proclaimed.

Rick’s Cabaret Madison said, “I’ve met a lot of the Howard Stern Show guys including Artie here at the club. Artie was very nice to me. He was actually charming. What happened to him made me very sad. Reading all the details in the book was heart breaking. But I am so happy he’s in a better place now.”

“Crash and Burn was awesome,” said Rick’s Cabaret Girl Lindsay. “It was fascinating to read about what really happened to Artie. I wish him only the best in the future.”

“Artie’s book is straight up–like 6 o’clock. He tells the truth and that is so rare,” said Rick’s Cabaret Girl Rebekka.

Rick’s Cabaret Girl Monica said, “I liked it because it brought out many different emotions in me. The book is serious, but you know Artie is amazingly funny, too. I recommend the book for everyone.”

Artie Lange – ‘Crash and Burn’ Synopsis:

Veteran comedian and radio personality Artie Lange turns an unflinching eye and his signature wit on his perilous descent into drug addiction, life-threatening depression, and ultimately, his recovery, in the follow-up to his hilariously raw debut, #1 New York Times bestseller Too Fat to Fish.

At a high point in his career, Artie Lange played a sold-out show in Carnegie Hall and totally killed—yet during his standing ovation, all he could think of were the two bags of heroin in his pocket. In the midst of a deep, self-destructive depression, addicted to heroin and prescription drugs, he lashed out at everyone around him— from his fellow cast members on The Howard Stern Show, to celebrity guests, his longtime friends, and even his own family.

Rick’s Cabaret New York is well known for its beautiful exotic dancers, luxurious setting, gourmet restaurant and warm hospitality. It is the club of choice for an upscale clientele including Wall Street businessmen, numerous celebrities, and pro athletes from all the major sports.

“Crash and Burn” by Artie Lange with Anthony Bozza is available at all major book stores and at Amazon.com. The nightly “Artie Lange Show” is on the Audience Network for DirecTV.
