NFL Thanksgiving Day 2013 Picks Against the Spread, Totals and Money Line

Last week we went 2-1 hitting both underdog plays and gained 4.4 units. That brings our yearly total to 20-16 and + 21.16 units. Today, Happy Thanksgiving, let’s be thankful for football. I am going to pick all three games!

Green Bay Packers @ Detroit Lions -6:

Here is a game that can be quite interesting with Matt Flynn at QB. Detroit is a bi-polar team having just lost to the Bucs. They also only managed 9 points the last time they faced this Packers defense. I think the Lions are now aware that they can be in the driver seat of this division. They have a chance to take one without Rodgers playing and increase their lead on the Packers going into the home stretch. I like the Lions to stop Green Bay’s rushing attack and force Flynn to beat them. He will not. Expect this one to get ugly with a few fights breaking out! Lions -6 -110 to win 2 units

Oakland Raiders @ Dallas Cowboys -8:

I am not sold on the Dallas Cowboys. Oakland has hung tough in most of their games and Dallas has some serious flaws. Mainly on the defensive side of the ball. These woes and some offensive inconsistency showed itself in Dallas Last three games when they barely beat the Vikings, got throttled by the Saints and then barely hung on to beat the Giants. Dallas does have some grit and they will need every bit of it has they  face the Raiders rushing attack that will now also have McFadden back. I think Dallas will hold on and get the much needed win, but Oakland is going to keep this interesting. Remember, this line opened at Dallas -11, but heavily betting on Oakland is dropping it.  Oakland +8 -110 to win 2 units

Pittsburgh Steelers @ Baltimore Ravens -2.5:

Here is a game that opened up Ravens -1, but bets are pushing it steeper. Do not look now, but the Steelers have continued to solve their problems and are looking more and more like a decent team. Meanwhile, the Ravens have shifted to an offensive team that can’t move the ball. The Ravens are looking crazy for gutting their team to pay Flacco, and Big Ben is actually starting to look like that QB who can put a team on his back. He was a bus driver during their Super Bowl days. I think the Ravens will put up a tough fight, but I like the Steelers to keep it close. Ill take Pitt and the points. Steelers +2.5 -105 to win 2 units

Good luck everybody and Happy Thanksgiving from all of us here at TMRZoo.com
