Lexus continues to wow me! Today, at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit Lexus officially revealed the highly anticipated all-new 2015 RC F. My 3.0-liter Lexus has a V6 engine with VVT-i (Variable Valve Timing with intelligence) this gives me 210 hp, more than enough pep. The new Lexus RC F is boasting twice that power equipped with Lexus’ most powerful V8 engine generating more than 450 horsepower!
We are talking old school muscle car horsepower and torque combined with Lexus’ advanced handling and driver engagement. Making the Lexus RC F more intriguing is the smart design of the transmission in the new Lexus “For the first time in a Lexus performance engine, the RC F uses the Atkinson cycle at cruising speeds for enhanced fuel economy and then switches to the Otto cycle at higher rpm to develop impressive performance levels.”
All of this power is wrapped in Lexus’ world class design. As you can see in the video below the exterior is sharp. The Lexus’ grill will turn heads and the wrap around tail lights and retractable spoiler are just as sharp. Let’s face it at 450 hp all most people will get a look at is this car’s tail lights.
