With only 2 weeks left until the 2014 NFL Draft, you better get moving on submitting your entries in our Johnny Manziel Draft contest. Just like the “expert” predictions, the contest entries have been all over the board… but the majority have Johnny Football being selected in the first round.
A recent tweet by Ed Werder of ESPN pegs the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as serious contenders to land Manziel. The Bucs currently own the 7th overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. Is it a smoke screen to ramp up the value of the pick or does Tampa really want to grab another QB after selecting Mike Glennon in the 3rd round last year?
In any case, all indications are that Johnny Manziel will probably shaking hands with Roger Goodell Thursday night and most likely in the top ten.
Both Daniel Jeremiah and Bucky Brooks of ESPN are predicting that Manziel won’t make it past the third pick because the Jacksonville Jaguars will scoop him up… if the Rams and Texans don’t first.
