The original American Pie (1999) launched a lot of careers and a lot of sequels. The original teen comedy was followed by American Pie 2 (2001), American Wedding (2003), American Pie Presents: Band Camp (2005), American Pie Presents: The Naked Mile (2006), American Pie Presents: Beta House (2007), American Pie Presents: The Book of Love (2009) and of course American Reunion (2012).
The film also made Alyson Hannigan, Shannon Elizabeth, Tara Reid, Natasha Lyonne, and Mena Suvari household names. Along with all of the laughs American Pie gave us the film also gave us a ton of nude starlets during its run. The dick and fat jokes were accented by topless and naked young girls whenever the writers could work the nudity into the scrips. If the teen girls were not naked they made their way in to bikinis or bras and panties.
American Pie also gave us Natasha Lyonne who plays the heroin addicted ultra horny lesbian Nicky on Orange is the New Black. Maybe the next movie should be American Pie Goes to Prison. Natasha Lyonne could turn out jail newcomers Alyson Hannigan, Shannon Elizabeth, Tara Reid, and Mena Suvari. If the writers couldn’t work a couple of nude shower scenes into this film I would be shocked. Just the naked strip search when the girls get to prison would be worth the price of admission.
