The Low Down
The first question that I’m usually asked about a gentlemen’s club is “how hot are the dancers?” I answer, time and time again, by saying that it isn’t just the dancers that make an enjoyable gentlemen’s club experience, but the entire package – the food and drink menu, the events, the specials and hard working, friendly staff – that makes a great club. Blush is the epitome of what a gentlemen’s club should strive for, and is one of the few clubs in the country that I’m giving perfect review scores to. I arrived at the club at 8:30pm on a Saturday night; not my usual weekday review trip day, but travel plans dictated a stop off on a weekend evening and I certainly wasn’t disappointed. As with all of my gentlemen’s club reviews, I rated the club on a scale of one to five stars, with five being the best possible score.
Location & Facilities – 5 Stars
Blush, a fully nude club, is located in Downtown Pittsburgh, within close proximity to major highways and public transportation. Despite what you might think upon first walking in, this five story club is rather spacious, with their main club located on the first floor featuring a spacious bar and equally spacious two-pole stage with plenty of stage-side and high top table seating, the second floor mezzanine level looking down onto the first floor stage, a third floor sports bar and VIP rooms located on the fourth and fifth floors. As for the first floor club itself, you’ll find an eclectic mix of customers – from locals to businesspeople – as well as a DJ who plays everything from classic rock to modern hip-hop. For those who want to spend some private time with one of Blush’s beautiful dancers, the couch dance and VIP rooms offer a level of spaciousness and privacy that is hard to find in even the most upscale clubs. As for the aptly-named sports bar, you’ll find nine flat screen TV’s to catch all of your favorite games, a décor that is truly a “sports bar” and not just some decorations on the walls and a single dancer pole in case you still need to be reminded that you’re in a gentlemen’s club.
Staff – 5 Stars
The customer service provided by the staff at Blush rivals that of some of the finest Las Vegas gentlemen’s clubs, and that’s certainly saying something considering how over-the-top the massive Vegas clubs can be. Colin, the floor manager on duty that night, went out of his way to introduce himself to me and to make sure that I was enjoying myself. Kimberly, one of several bartenders on duty that evening, still managed to be friendly and engaging despite the packed house.
Food & Drink – 5 Stars
Whatever you do, DO NOT eat before coming to Blush, as their diverse and eccentric menu has something for everyone… and a few things you’ve probably never tried before! Appetizers include spam tacos, artichoke & spinach dip and wings, with sandwiches, burgers, and a variety of steak and seafood entrée options available for dinner. Save room for dessert; where else can you indulge on fried Klondike bars and a “heartbreak hotel,” a fried peanut butter and jelly sandwich topped with bacon and ice cream? I’m not making this up… that’s all in one dessert! Their bar is well stocked with a variety of liquor options and there are over three dozen beers available; I stuck with my go-to Mailbu and pineapple for $6.50, which was a pretty average price for a drink in the area.
Dancers – 5 Stars
The dancers at Blush are not only extremely attractive, but also diverse: a variety of different body types, ethnicities and styles… truly “something for everyone,” which is important to a club where customer tastes often vary. There were around three dozen girls for about as many customers, which was more packed than you’ll find at most of the other clubs in the area. I spent most of my time with Molly, a gorgeous brunette dancer with the most seductive eyes I’ve ever seen. Oh, and I can’t forget to mention that the club books some of the hottest adult entertainment feature dancers out there today.
Value – 5 Stars
While the prices at Blush are on-average or better than most gentlemen’s clubs, the value and variety you receive are more than worth it. The club charges a cover every night, but Saturdays are $15 to get in and you can download a $5 off admission coupon from their website. Couch dances are $30 for one song or $79 for three songs, and the VIP rooms are $220 for 30 minutes and $360 for an hour. The club features weekly food specials as well as $20 for 5 bottles or cans.
Website & Social Media – 5 Stars
While simplistic in design, the feature dancer banners and club video prominently displayed on the club website’s homepage, blushexotic.com, quickly demonstrate the level of quality that the club provides. The club website also features information on dancer schedules, upcoming events, links to their social media pages, an online store and much more.
In Brief…
Blush has a “staying power” that most clubs don’t… meaning, once you come you’ll have plenty to make you stay and very little motivation to leave! From catching your favorite sports game to delicious menu options to the company of some of the hottest dancers in Pittsburgh, you can make an entire day out of Blush and still want to come back for more.
