More Women Than Men Are Open to a Relationship With a Transgendered Partner, America’s most trusted source for adult products, is back this month with the latest findings in its sex survey results. When the company asked over 1,000 adults if they would be open to having a relationship with someone transgendered, the responses they got may surprise you.

While 65% of those polled said they would not be open to having a relationship with a transgendered individual, 12% of the respondents said they were open to it and 23% said they were undecided.

Of these, more women than men (14% versus 10%) were open to a relationship with a transgendered partner, while 28% of the women versus 18% of the men were unsure.

“Transgender is defined as someone whose gender identity assigned at birth is not congruent with the gender they identify as,” explains Dr. Kat Van Kirk,’s resident sexpert. “While the latest studies have shown only .3 percent of the population identifies as transgender, it’s a hot topic right now and has definitely gotten people talking about what it means to them. As it turns out, gender, like sexual orientation, may exist more on a spectrum than we once believed.”

“Adam & Eve encourages healthy sexuality between consenting adults,” says Director of Marketing Chad Davis. “Although people generally associate with women and couples, our products cross gender lines… after all, sex is something for every adult to enjoy.”

The web-based survey, conducted by an independent third party survey company, of over 1,000 American adults age 18 and up, was sponsored by Adam & Eve to study sexual preferences and practices. “Sex Chat with Dr. Kat” can be found on podcasts through iTunes or Her book, “The Married Sex Solution: A Realistic Guide to Saving Your Sex Life,” can be found on
