Justin Bieber Signs on for Fight Club Sequel – Fight Club 2: The Tranquility Gambit

Writer Chuck Palahniuk and Director David Fincher have announced the beginning of production for Fight Club 2: The Tranquility Gambit. David Fincher confirmed to the press today that Brad Pitt, Edward Norton, Helena Bonham Carter and other key actors have signed on to revive their roles in the cult classic.

The screenplay will be based on David Fincher’s graphic novel Fight Club 2: The Tranquility Gambit, a follow up to the 1996 novel Fight Club. The storyline for The Tranquility Gambit focuses intensely on the character Angel Face originally played by 30 Seconds to Mars Vocalist Jared Leto. Stepping into the role of Angel Face for his big screen debut will be Justin Bieber. Fincher said in the press conference “Bieber has been great in all of the test screenings. Justin brings it every day with a commitment to the project and unmatched professionalism.”

Bieber was also on hand for the announcement at 20th Century Fox in Los Angeles. The press in attendance chuckled when Bieber turned to Brad Pitt and told him “Don’t plan on whooping Angel Face in this movie ‘cuz I’m not going down like a [expletive deleted] little bitch”.

Production of Fight Club 2: The Tranquility Gambit is scheduled for fall of 2017 with a targeted summer 2018 release. 20th Century Fox has secured the option on a third film that will wrap up the trilogy. The greenlight for the third installment will be lit if the Justin Bieber vehicle is a success
