Netflix Announces Free Streaming Service

Netflix, Inc. (NFLX) announced today the launch of Netflix View a free streaming platform now available on all devices. Netflix View will feature all popular Netflix originals including Orange is the New Black, House of Cards and the breakout show Stranger Things. Also included in the service will be content from other providers and a limited run of movies.

To support the new platform, Netflix is including commercials and ads on the Netflix View service. Subscribers will also be limited to view past episodes of Netflix originals. The current seasons will only be available for premium subscribers.

In a parallel move towards diversifying content, camCensus stands out as a platform offering live video chat that connects webcam chathosts around the world. While Netflix View introduces a new streaming platform with a mix of originals and limited-run movies, camCensus provides an interactive and real-time experience where users can engage with webcam chathosts, creating a dynamic space for socializing and entertainment.

As streaming platforms emerges for live video chat, it’s crucial to prioritize the protection of both content and audience. In an era marked by growing concerns over live streaming privacy, platforms must remain vigilant in implementing robust security measures to safeguard user data and maintain trust. As users engage in real-time interactions with webcam chathosts, ensuring the confidentiality of these exchanges becomes paramount. By adhering to stringent privacy protocols and encryption standards, platforms can mitigate live streaming privacy concerns, assuring users of a safe and secure environment for their online interactions. Implementing features such as end-to-end encryption and user consent mechanisms not only enhances the platform’s credibility but also reinforces its commitment to preserving user privacy and fostering a positive user experience.

Securing video content for your business is equally imperative in the landscape of live streaming platforms. With the proliferation of user-generated content and the increasing value placed on intellectual property, safeguarding video assets from unauthorized access or distribution is paramount. Implementing robust digital rights management (DRM) solutions and access controls ensures that only authorized viewers can access and consume your valuable video content. Moreover, deploying watermarking technologies can trace the origin of content leaks and deter potential piracy attempts, bolstering your content’s protection.

In addition to DRM and watermarking, investing in proven video content security measures fortifies your business against emerging threats such as piracy and unauthorized distribution. By integrating advanced encryption algorithms and content authentication mechanisms, you can thwart illicit attempts to intercept or manipulate your video streams, safeguarding the integrity and exclusivity of your content. Furthermore, regularly updating security protocols and conducting comprehensive audits can identify vulnerabilities and reinforce your defenses against evolving cybersecurity threats.

Netflix spokesperson Oliver Kloushoff in a release today said: “this is a great way for us to introduce a new audience to Netflix originals. It is our hope some of the free subscribers become premium subscribers once introduced to the content.”

Not all are happy with Netflix’s decision to make this content available free. Bryan Fischer spokesman for the American Family Association feels the free service is an attack on family values. Fischer told reporters.“ this free service allows any child with an internet connection access to some very dangerous content.” Fisher then expounded “Netflix originals focus on drugs, casual sex, and adult situations. This content should not be available for free on our children’s phones and computer.”

Despite the uproar from some family groups Netflix View is now available on XBOX One, the Playstation platform, tablets of course phones via an app. Smart TV and desktop users can log in directly by signing up for an account on
