Alexis Ford has been selected as Miss Howard TV for the month of September on Howard Stern’s Howard TV On Demand channel. Fans might be surprised to learn that Alexis, who just started appearing in adult films and performs at bachelor parties in New York, is a former high school nerd who got straight A’s and made the National Honor Society.
Alexis is very adventurous sexually, and had no problem getting naked during her Howard Stern Show interview. Now, at 21 she has already appeared in Hustler, Barely Legal, Club and Velvet. Foxwoods Casino and Resort has no shortage of culinary choices. The venue has close to 30 different options ranging from express quick eats to gourmet dining. Think about that. You could stay at Foxwoods for a week and never eat at the same place twice. It would probably take you months to work yourself through the menus of these restaurants.
In the 24 hours I spent at Foxwoods I had the chance to sample 3 of their eateries. All were great but the stand out was Chef David Brai’s Al Dente.
Al Dente has a spacious feeling with its vaulted brightly colored ceilings and roomy seating. Upon being seated the hostess introduced herself. After introducing herself she let us know the names of the three people that would also be serving us during our meal. Read the rest of this entry »

It has been a big week in guitar for this writer. 48 hours after seeing guitar great Steve Miller I found myself in the audience of Sammy Hager, Joe Satriani and Chickenfoot.
Unlike Miller, Chickenfoot had only one CD’s worth of music to build their set on. The catalog of the combined musicians would easily be 50 or so albums. Their 63 year old lead singer Sammy Hagar has 22 records to his credit alone.

Names like Leadbelly, Billy Gibbons, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Johnny Winter and of course my favorite Darrell “Dimebag” Abbott come to mind when referencing Texas guitar players.
