Fall’s Coming Up & The NFL Is Heating Up!; Week 3 Tops Off With Romo Vs. Rodgers, Favre Vs. Rivers.


Great way to start. Great way to come back.

That can easily summarize developments in the NFL so far that have already packed a season’s worth of surprise and suspense into the league’s first…two weeks.

As autumn looms next Monday, who can imagine what’s in store?

Look at things so far. Three of the 2-0 teams (Buffalo, Carolina and Denver) won only seven games apiece last year. So things are looking up for them.

But, hold on. Just look at last year. The Giants started 0-2 and won the Super Bowl. The Chargers began 1-3 and reached the AFC Championship Game. It’s two weeks down – and a long way to go!

“It’s a great way to start the season,” says wide receiver LARRY FITZGERALD of the 2-0 Arizona Cardinals. “But it would be a lot better to be 3-0. That’s where my mind-frame is.”

If there have been great starts to the season, there have also been great comebacks. Just look at Week 2.

Three teams – Carolina, Indianapolis and San Francisco -- overcame deficits of at least 14 points to win – the first time that many teams have done so since Week 13 of 2006. “You have to continue to fight and continue to battle,” says Indianapolis head coach TONY DUNGY. “That’s the way a lot of NFL games are.”

Yeah we have the game, everything is cool seeing the fish are 0-2, if both teams were tied in the division there would be an issue but at this point I can dress like flipper and she wouldn't give a shit.

So, when do you surprise her with her brand new Fin jersey?

I plan on blogging the tailgate/game for the site so I should have plenty of pictures and stories.

I would hate to be Securb on the ride home from Foxboro, and it's not a short ride. Hopefully he's riding high enough on the Fins win today that whatever Ragdoll says goes right by him.

I'm glad I didn't see the beat down. They werent' showing it on TV here in the Philly area and I was out most of the day until now anyway. I haven't seen a single play from the game yet, and I'm not sure I want to.
