A league source tells us that the talk among the Browns is that tight end Kellen Winslow landed in the Cleveland Clinic because his balls swelled to the size of grapefruits.

(We think that technical term is testiculus coconutus.)

Actually, one explanation for the situation is a condition known as hyrdocele. And while the condition in itself isn?t serious, it could be a symptom of testicular cancer.

And, yeah, I squirmed in my chair the entire time I typed this.

Ouch
Looks like the Browns are sitting Winslow.
Winslow will be sitting on his browns if he's not careful.

Ok, that was just dumb
Did anyone get a count on how many times the crew last night mentioned that Winslow has an illness he doesn't want disclosed. What assholes.
Is Winslow and his nuts still out this week?
The Eagles were rumored to have been talking to the Browns to acquire Winslow, but nothing was worked out.

That would have been great... the Eagles haven't had a big-balled player at the TE position in years
BROWNS SUSPEND KELLEN WINSLOW

Posted by Michael David Smith on October 21, 2008, 6:00 p.m. EDT
The Cleveland Browns have announced that tight end Kellen Winslow has received a one-game suspension.
On Sunday Winslow publicly criticized the team for its handling of his recent hospitalization, which he said was a result of a staph infection. General Manager Phil Savage and coach Romeo Crennel said the public criticism was inappropriate and that Winslow could be disciplined as a result.
Today Savage released a statement detailing the reasons for the suspension.
“The Cleveland Browns are committed to winning and taking care of our players,” Savage said in the statement. “We are also committed to protecting the privacy of our players, particularly with regard to medical issues. To that end, following discussions with Kellen Winslow and his representation, the Browns agreed to make every effort to maintain the confidentiality of his recent medical condition. …
“His comments and behavior on Sunday evening, however, were unwarranted, inappropriate, and unnecessarily disparaging to our organization. His statements brought unjustified negative attention to our organization, and violated the team-first concept of our football squad. Therefore, disciplinary action will be taken in the form of a one-game suspension without pay for conduct detrimental to the club.”
I heard that the Browns have had a rather large number of staph infections over the last few years. Fuck, clean your facilities.
K2 may play this week as he has a slight chance of winning his appeal with the league, give the guy a break! swollen staph infected balls are punishment enough!
He will be SO GONE next year, he would look good in a Giant uniform...
