Looks like my last year prediction about Stearn stepping up and O&A stepping down is slowly coming true. First Sirius buys XM and now O&A are getting canceled in tons of markets this morning was Boston. Ironically I have Sirius in my rental and listened to Stearn this morning for the first time in years.
But didn't O&A go to XM after they were kicked off the air and they just simulcast a portion of their show over the regular air waves? They were on in Dallas for about a year after the Roth experiment. I liked them, but they were too "Northeastern" for Dallas, even though Stern did well.
I thought about getting a satellite radio after Stern jumped, but didn't and I don't really miss it much. I liked a lot of his stuff, but the porn stars and sex related segments didn't really interest me, which I think he's doing more of now.

From 6 AM to 9 AM they broadcasted on "terrestrial" radio the show was pretty good but Antony Cumia's rasist rants were getting tired, with him forcing the edginess.
I never got into those guys. The station in Philly had Stern on in the morning, some other guys out of Washington mid-day and O&A afternoon drive. It was waaaay too much talk for a "rock" station.
I'm still digging satellite. Stern is on a loop all day so you can tune in whenever you want. Each genre getting their own channel is great too, even the kid's channel for when I used to take the boy to daycare. The NFL coverage is great too, the score of each game is shown on the display and you can listen to multiple broadcasts of any game. Its great for keeping up with the rest of the league while tailgating.
