Favre staying retired

The Star Tribune reports that Brett Favre will stay retired. Vikings beat reporter Judd Zulgad received a phone call from Brad Childress who said he talked to Brett Favre and that he was informed that Favre is staying retired.

Let's see which happens first: Roy Halladay gets traded or Favre changes his mind.

Popular consensus between the local newscasters/sports guys is that he's full of shit, no one takes anything he says seriously anymore.

Vick will be signed by Sunday, Favre will sign after week 3 of the preseason games.

Favre is hoping something happens in Green Bay and they'll need him to step in and rescue the season and be a hero. If that's happen I hope they'd tell him to pound sand.
