Today was the first nice day we've had in over a week. No rain, sunny skies and it's drying up around here.

Don't get me wrong, other people nearby are FUCKED because of the flooding...but it's fine here. We ended up getting almost the whole Summer's worth of rain over the last week.

80 and sunny, time to clean the pool and cut the lawn. After that I am going to float in the pool with a beer and listen to some Radiohead. huge grin
Sounds like a plan, Securb!

June here has been cold and rainy, but I have high hopes for this weekend. The forecast is "sunny with cloudy periods, highs of 65 F".

Himself got a freestanding hammock at his retirement party last week, and is itching to try it out.

You know you're busting out the Coldplay. LOL It's going to be in the 80s here today too.

Like my Sis says "we make plans and God laughs". We have been getting rain all afternoon that I thought was going to miss us. I have been stuck inside drinking homebrew and posting.

HOORAY! I'm not alone!
It's been raining off and on all day here, when it's not raining the mosquitos are vicious...I've been hunkered down inside most of the day.
Rain is rolling in now. the rest of the weekend was pretty nice, maybe a little hot... but I was inside tearing rooms apart.

Fucking houses, nothing changes.
So, is it still 112 degrees in the desert Southwest?
