Did Philly move to Florida when I wasn't looking? 90 degrees here the past few days and they expect it every day this week. Throw in the humidity and the Heat Index (opposite of wind chill?) Will be 100-105.
The weather here has been sketchy all week. It's been tropical, similar to what you're talking about Gator, and stormy. There were three tornados in the state Monday night, fortunately the dangerous part of that storm just missed us. It was scary for a few hours.

This morning we had another round of thunderstorms move through, close to two inches of rain in a few hours on the already saturated ground. There is the possibility of more storms later, this blows.

I feel bad for the people that got nailed by the tornado. Something like three dozen homes flattened and around one hundred with damage, that area was hammered by the rain this morning. Most of the houses had roof damage so that rain ruined pretty much everything that survived the tornado.

it's "smack you in the face" hot, that's for sure.

that's my favorite kind of hot too..
80, with a nice cool breeze
How's everyone holding up with the heat?

Boston is hot as hell it has been in the 90s but I am in the air conditioning most of the time. My lawn looks like hay. That's $400 in grass seed and fertilizer down the drain.

This should be the first day not in the 100's in a few days. Probably still mid-90's though. Holding up just fine... inside.

The electric meter is smoking though.

swamp ass
I have been inside sucking in the AC all day at work but I just checked and it is 90 in NH. I am going to have to by a rack of something good on the way home.
The humidity finally let up here, it was tropical all week. Now there are swarms of mosquitoes everywhere.
